I’ve spent most of my life on the Gulf Coast — and I’ve owned a piece of it: a waterfront rental on Pensacola Beach and a condo in Destin. I know the frustrations of owning a rental from afar — the mold-covered AC closet, the broken bunk-bed ladder, the windows that won’t seal — and how even a good property manager often isn’t enough.
